Why is it embarrassing to talk about music?
I was recently at a party when someone asked me who my favorite music artists were. I mentioned Jim Brickman, Lindsey Stirling and the Piano Guys. Since they weren’t familiar with these artists, I told them I enjoy listening to the Backstreet Boys and Taylor Swift. One of my friends joked that I have the same taste in music as a 10 year old girl.
When I listen to an artist like Marilyn Manson, it hurts my ears. It sounds to me like someone is screaming in pain. I find it more difficult to follow the lyrics. When I listen to music, I prefer listening to happier songs where it’s easier to understand the lyrics.
